Frances grew up on the north shore of New Brunswick in the small country village of Glen Levit, NB.  She is the youngest in a family of fifteen children. Frances and her husband Aubrey have been married for fifty-one years and are the parents of three daughters, Wendy, Pamela and Peggy, also a special grandson Thomas.

Frances has been an active CWL member since 1965. She is a parishioner of St. Anthony’s  Parish; she serves on the administration council, is on the pastoral council, and is a liturgy and Eucharistic minister.

At CWL Parish level Frances has been president, treasurer, secretary, and chairpersons of standing committees; at Diocesan she has been president, chairpersons of several standing committees and is presently secretary; at  Provincial she has served as chairpersons of standing committees up to 1st vice president.

Frances served on the Hospitality Committee for the 82nd annual national convention in Moncton, 2002 and presently is on the Special Events Committee for the 2014 national convention in Fredericton.

Frances was honoured with her Life Membership on April 30, 2006 at the 57th diocesan convention in Bathurst.  She was presented with the Maple Leaf Service Pin Award in 2008 from  St. Anthony’s Parish

Frances is active helping in her community with many organizations and committees.

CWL has been a real reward for her, being a member and belonging to such a wonderful organization has given her such strength in her faith and life.

She is so grateful to have met so many lovely ladies who have been great mentors to her and have journeyed with her over the years.

CWL is like a large family where friendships remain for a lifetime.  Frances, her words to all the ladies in the church” Come and join us, we are waiting for you with open arms”.
