Jacqueline grew up in Perth-Andover and is the second daughter in a family of six children.  She received her high school diploma at Southern Victoria High School.  After devoting more than twenty-one years to the local nursing home, Victoria Glen manor, Jacqueline has turned to a new career in banking.  She first joined the Bank of Nova Scotia in 2003 as a Customer Representative.  After completing the Personal Banking Officer and Mutual Funds in Canada courses; she is now employed full time in Florenceville.

Jacqueline became an active member almost immediately after joining the League in 1992.  She has served the League in various positions at the parish, diocesan and provincial levels.  Jacqueline has most recently been installed as Provincial President at the 61st Provincial Convention held in Moncton, NB.

Jacqueline has been blessed to have had the opportunity to attend seven national conventions, numerous provincial and diocesan conventions, attended semi-annual meetings, retreats, as well as workshops facilitated by Honorary Life Member Vivian Bosh; National President, Lorette Noble; National Chairperson of Laws, Agnes Bedard; National Chairpersons Betty-Ann Brown and Cecile Miller.  She has also served on the planning committee for the 82nd Annual National Convention which was held in 2002.  Jacqueline continues to take every opportunity to attend conferences such as the Annual National Pro-Life Conference in 2007 as well as the March for Life Rally 2008.  The League has been a very fulfilling spiritual experience for Jacqueline.  During her tenure as diocesan president, one of Jacqueline’s goals was to re-establish the diocesan convention.  She was successful in doing this in May of 2001 and again in May of 2002.

Jacqueline had the honour of receiving her Life Membership on May 13, 2006 at the 57th Annual Edmundston Diocesan Convention.

Jacqueline and Bruce were married July 13, 1991.  They are active members of their parish, St. Mary of the Angles, volunteering on various committees.  They dedicate their spare time to their numerous nieces and nephews
